Pinsent Masons strengthens IP offering with new patent attorney partner Fred Nicolle in London

Joining from Simmons & Simmons, Fred is a European and UK Patent Attorney, European Patent Litigator and registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), with particular expertise in contentious patent proceedings and advisory work for clients in the healthcare and life sciences sector.

Fred's appointment follows a series of strategic hires across Pinsent Masons' European Life Sciences and IP practices. It comes after the recent arrival of IP partners Dr. Kai Rüting and Philipp Widera in Düsseldorf, bringing deep expertise in complex patent disputes and UPC litigation. Earlier this summer, Legal Director Lily Robinson joined the firm's Life Sciences team in London, adding significant experience in licensing and collaboration transactions.
