We’re delighted to welcome Ghadieja Khan, Senior MLS Lawyer, to our MLS Commercial team. With expertise spanning IP, TMT and alternative legal services, Ghadieja brings a blend of technical capability, commercial awareness and a genuine enthusiasm for innovative legal delivery.
A strong foundation in IP and TMT
Ghadieja began her legal career in Cape Town, where she completed her LLB before joining a specialist IP and TMT practice as an Associate.
Her career then took her to Radiant Law, where she developed a strong interest in alternative legal service providers (ALSPs) and forward-thinking delivery models and gained first-hand experience of technology-enabled legal delivery. After returning to traditional practice as a Senior Associate, Ghadieja continued to build on her broad experience across IP, TMT and commercial work. By this point in her career, she had established herself as a trusted advisor with a deep understanding of technology-driven legal work and complex commercial matters, and this ultimately led her to seek a role that brings together her experience in commercial work with her passion for technology-enabled, alternative legal solutions.
Why MLS and Pinsent Masons Vario?
With her combined background in commercial practice and alternative delivery, MLS felt like a natural next step. Although familiar with Pinsent Masons, Ghadieja hadn’t previously encountered Vario. What immediately stood out, she explains, was the culture: warm, people-centred and consistently reflected across every interaction.
This genuine, collaborative approach, paired with a commitment to innovative service delivery, made MLS the ideal environment for her next chapter.

Ghadieja is particularly excited about the opportunities within the Cape Town office. She highlights the exceptional talent already embedded within the team and the strong integration into wider Vario workstreams. The office itself, she adds, is “absolutely gorgeous” and equally importantly, “has amazing coffee!”
