UK Competition Law Conference 2025

08 October 2025 12:30-18:00 BST

Pinsent Masons, London

Please select

In a year of transformative developments, including legislative reforms that have reshaped the UK’s competition law and consumer protection enforcement regimes, along with the introduction of a new pro-growth framework for the CMA, Pinsent Masons is delighted to invite you to our annual UK Competition Law Conference.

Our select line up of speakers will unpack the trends and forces behind the evolving landscape in the context of global geopolitical developments.

We are delighted that the following external speakers have agreed to speak at our conference:

  • Peter Freeman CBE KC (Hon), Senior Advisor (Policy) at the Competition Appeal Tribunal, as our keynote speaker. Peter will provide a timely analysis of recent enforcement trends in competition and subsidy-control litigation before the CAT.
  • Marcus Bokkerink, our newly appointed Independent Board Member, will draw from his previous role as CMA Chairman and reflect on the CMA’s role in advancing the UK Government’s growth agenda.
  • Andrew Groves, Director for Competition Enforcement at the Competition and Markets Authority, will also be joining us to outline the CMA’s enforcement priorities for the coming months.

In addition to our own competition and consumer law specialists, we will be announcing our full speaker line-up in the coming weeks.

Join us for a day full of practical insights and networking with regulators, industry leaders, and peers from across the public and private sectors.

The event will be held in person at our London office, with a buffet lunch provided before the conference and a networking reception to follow.

Who should attend

Our conference is open to senior in-house lawyers, senior management and members of the C-Suite who would like to develop their existing knowledge and insights on complex areas of competition law.
