Preparing for tribunal: A step by step guide
This half day course (x3 50 minute sessions, 10:00-13:00) examines each stage of an employment tribunal claim, from receipt of the application to the hearing. Participants will explore how they can prepare for and present their case to a Tribunal.

Objectives
By the end of this half day course participants will be able to:
- Manage your own organisation's tribunal claims with confidence;
- Assess whether the claim should be settled or defended;
- Prepare for each stage of the claims process such as preliminary hearings, disclosure of documents and preparation of witness statements; and
- Construct arguments that can be used to reduce the amount of compensation payable even if you lose after the case.
