Senior Associate
Charlotte advises DB and DC schemes on business-as-usual matters, as well as on one-off projects, such as benefit rectification exercises and asset transitions.
Charlotte has extensive experience of advising trustees of pension schemes. She is the day-to-day contact for a wide range of DB and DC pension schemes, supporting many long-standing clients. She advises her clients on business-as-usual matters, such as member cases and complaints, scheme investments and compliance issues (such as DC Chair’s Statements and ESG). She attends multiple trustee meetings each quarter and regularly delivers training on a range of topics including trustee duties, scheme design and discretionary death benefits.
Charlotte has experience in pensions disputes, having worked on professional negligence claims and rectification claims. Her current focus is on risk mitigation (including helping her clients avoid litigation and resolve member complaints before they reach the Pensions Ombudsman). Charlotte has undertaken two secondments to an employee benefit consultant, where she worked with their pensions administration team to manage the resolution of errors / significant complaints.
