Managing Senior Associate
Heather advises trustees and employers of defined benefit pension schemes on all matters relating to their schemes, with a focus on risk transfer projects and scheme wind-ups.
Heather has wide-ranging experience on all matters relating to pensions law, particularly DB advisory work. She is the day-to-day contact for a wide range of trustees, supporting many long-standing clients with member cases, scheme governance and attending trustee meetings.
Heather is a member of the pensions risk transfer team, advising trustees and employers on all aspects of buy-in transactions. She also advises trustees on the process of moving schemes to buy-out and wind-up with a particular interest in seeking opportunities to streamline the buy-out process and seeking trustee protections.
Heather also advises trustees and employers on bulk transfers to DC master trusts which complements her work on risk transfer projects as another suitable endgame for pension schemes.
