Led redesign of the target operating model, enhanced risk assessment methodologies, policies and procedures, trained operational teams, and directed client remediation and FCA engagement, delivering a significant uplift in compliance standards.

  • Advised a global automotive manufacturer on a Borrowers in Financial Difficulty (BiFD) remediation programme following identified deficiencies in forbearance and vulnerable customer processes. Led remediation redesign, governance enhancements, outcomes testing, redress and settlements, delivering FCA-accepted outcomes while maintaining stakeholder confidence and achieving strong client feedback.

  • Led a sanctions remediation programme for a large UK bank following identified sanctions control weaknesses. Advised on sanctions policy, controls and operational implementation, while overseeing technology-enabled screening and cross-border investigations. Directed remediation under OFSI and OFAC scrutiny, achieving No-Action outcomes in both the UK and US jurisdictions.

  • Advised a large UK challenger bank on anti-money laundering compliance amid regulatory scrutiny of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) controls. Designed and led a transformation programme to strengthen governance, systems and controls, and establish an outsourced EDD remediation operation, resulting in enhanced compliance standards and removal of a regulatory VREQ.

  • Led a major cross-border sanctions remediation programme for a global insurance and outsourcing organisation following the identification of sanctions control deficiencies. Managed regulatory engagement with UK and US authorities, coordinated legal and technical advisory workstreams and oversaw large-scale remediation activities, ultimately securing formal No-Action outcomes and closure of the matter.
