Managing Senior Associate
Mariana provides specialist legal advice to national and international companies in the energy sector on M&A transactions, investment and divestment agreements, as well as partnership agreements. She also advises on contractual and corporate matters and has been involved in the drafting and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and co-development agreements for energy projects.
Mariana is a Managing Senior Associate in the Energy and Infrastructure department at Pinsent Masons in Madrid, where she provides specialist legal advice to national and international companies in the energy sector on M&A transactions, investment and divestment agreements, as well as partnership agreements. She also advises on contractual and corporate matters and has been involved in the drafting and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and co-development agreements for energy projects.
Furthermore, she has extensive experience in advising domestic and international companies on corporate restructuring and reorganisation processes, company acquisitions, commercial contracts and corporate governance.
Beyond a transactional focus, her practice encompasses advising clients throughout all phases of the project lifecycle (from development through to operation and maintenance), as well as structuring new contractual solutions tailored to emerging business models, including hybridisation and storage projects, and renewable gases, amongst others.
