Senior Associate
Rémi specialises in complex commercial, transactional and contentious matters, often with a cross-border or EU law element. Rémi focuses on telecommunications matters and on the interface of technology and sport. Rémi also advises national regulators as well as private entities on the drafting and implementation of new telecoms regulation.
Rémi is qualified to practice in England and Wales, France and New York state. Prior to joining Pinsent Masons, he worked in the IP/TMT practices of three highly regarded international firms in Paris. Later, he joined the UK Government Legal Department advising the MoD and DEFRA on a range of commercial and contentious matters.
Rémi joined Diane Mullenex' team in 2018 where he works on complex, cross-border transactions in the ICT as well as gaming/gambling sectors.
He advises private companies and regulatory authorities in the communication's sector on ICT related matters and notably MVNOs and e-commerce actors.
Rémi also has a strong practice in the gaming/gambling industry advising stakeholders on the entire breadth of the issues arising in this industry and notably with respect to the obtaining of online gaming licences and setting up of brick and mortar casinos in the UK and internationally.
