Ross leads our UK Environment team and has over 20 years’ experience of advising across the UK on all aspects of environmental law, including contaminated land, regulatory enforcement and civil sanctions, environmental permitting, waste, and emissions trading.

We have used Ross across multiple UK planning jurisdictions associated with renewable energy and utility infrastructure. We have always found him to be responsive and thorough in his review of the challenges often presented by complex planning consents and associated condition discharge and other planning related matters. In particular we find his skill to distil complex situations to their core, translating collaboratively across varied disciplines into a set of executable solutions, has been the unique aspect of working with him.
