Stefano is an experienced construction lawyer who advises local and international clients in the infrastructure, energy and mining sectors with a predominant focus on dispute resolution as well as providing project advisory and claims support.
Stefano has represented many of South Africa's foremost construction, engineering and mining firms and has achieved success for contractor, subcontractor, employer and developer clients from project inception to close-out as well as in court based and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Stefano has experience in analysing and responding to contractual matters during project execution, and has assisted clients in both the private and public sector on wide-ranging built environment matters pertaining to contractual compliance, risk management and the administration, preparation and management of claims. He advises clients regarding all facets of standard form contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC and GCC) as well as bespoke contracts.
