Steph is in the Commercial Litigation team specialising in University and Higher Education disputes, crisis management and mass claims.
Steph is a senior member of our specialist University Disputes Team and advises University clients in relation to a broad range of matters including group claims, breach of contract, discrimination/Equality Act 2010 claims, judicial review, contract termination, disciplinary investigations, freedom of speech, OIA referrals and academic and service complaints and claims brought by students. Steph has assisted clients in bringing and defending County and High Court claims and is regularly instructed in relation to matters involving litigants in person.
Steph also advises University clients in relation to the drafting and implementation of policies and procedures with particular expertise in student disciplinary procedures and complex cases involving allegations of sexual misconduct and harassment.
