Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons in Paris advised La Banque Postale and Bpifrance in connection with the financing of the repowering of two wind farms (Marsanne and Grand Bois) owned by funds managed by Octopus Energy Generation, for an amount exceeding €83 million.
These strategic assets are currently undergoing a modernisation program aimed at extending their operational lifecycle, optimising performance and strengthening the contribution of wind energy to the French national energy transition.
This financing transaction, which was signed in November 2025, will enable the two wind farms to benefit from next-generation technologies designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
The dedicated Pinsent Masons team was led by Eran Chvika, Partner in charge of the Finance & Projects practice in France. Noëlle Fajardy and Léa Fournier, associates, handled the financing aspects.
