International law firm Pinsent Masons has been appointed by Birmingham City Council as legal advisor on the procurement of a development partner to deliver the regeneration of the city’s Ladywood area.

Ladywood is a 62 hectare city centre site, identified in the Big City Plan as a key area for redevelopment to deliver family housing, public spaces and community facilities.

The Pinsent Masons team is led by partners David Meecham and Didar Dhillon, with support from a number of other local authority specialists within the firm's Birmingham office including Rebecca Rowley, Amy Walker and Chris Haines.

Commenting on the instruction David Meecham said:

"We are absolutely delighted to be advising Birmingham City Council again on a key regeneration project within the city. Pinsent Masons has proudly worked with the Council for a long time and we are always particularly pleased to be advising on schemes within our home city. After the success of advising on the Peddimore scheme we're looking forward to helping the Council deliver their plans for Ladywood."
