Pinsent Masons advises Great British Energy, National Wealth Fund and Scottish National Investment Bank on Pentland Investment

Pentland Offshore Wind farm is being developed by Highland Wind Limited which is majority owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. Eurus Energy and Hexicon also hold existing minority stakes in the project.

This transaction marks GBE’s first investment and is NWF and SNIB’s first direct investment into a floating offshore wind project. Brian Thumath, Pinsent Masons partner, commented:
