Pinsent Masons appoints infrastructure M&A specialist Candice Lambeth

02 Sep 2026 | 11:13 am | 1 min. read

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has today announced the appointment of Candice Lambeth as a partner in its corporate team in London.

Candice spent two years as a partner in the Energy and Infrastructure team at Paul Hastings in London, where she led on a number of multi-billion-pound transactions, including VINCI Airports' £1.27 billion acquisition of a controlling stake in Edinburgh Airport. Prior to that, Candice spent five years in the Private Equity Infrastructure team at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Advising on M&A transactions across the full spectrum of energy and infrastructure sub-sectors, Candice’s clients include private equity and infrastructure sponsors, as well as pension and sovereign wealth funds. Her extensive experience spans complex domestic and cross-border transactions, on both the sell-side and buy-side, competitive auctions, carve-outs, co-investments, joint ventures and general corporate advisory.

Candice’s appointment reflects Pinsent Masons’ commitment to continued investment in its market-leading infrastructure and energy offering and aligns with the firm’s strategy to strengthen its capabilities when it comes to supporting infrastructure investors across the full investment lifecycle - from new platform acquisitions and strategic investments through to bolt-on M&A, portfolio company transactions, and ongoing operational support.

Ed Stead, head of Pinsent Masons’ UK corporate practice, commented, “The UK and EMEA present some of the most compelling infrastructure investment opportunities globally. The region faces a multi-trillion-euro requirement for investment in the energy transition, power networks, digital infrastructure, transport and strategic assets over the coming decades.

“Against a backdrop of constrained public finances, private capital will play an increasingly critical role in funding, developing and operating infrastructure projects. Candice’s arrival is an important strategic step in ensuring we have the corporate team bench strength that can, in combination with our fantastic sector specialists, support infrastructure investors in exploiting those opportunities.”

Global Head of Transaction Services Joanne Ellis added, “We are delighted to welcome Candice to our team. Her deep industry experience and strong client relationships are a valuable addition as we continue to strengthen our corporate capabilities and expand our City offering.”

Candice said, “Pinsent Masons has a leading reputation across the energy and infrastructure markets, and I’m excited to be joining the team at a time of significant opportunity and transformation across the sector. I am looking forward to working with new corporate colleagues and the firm’s highly regarded infrastructure and energy specialists, both in London and across our global footprint, to meet the complex needs of infrastructure fund clients.”

In July, Pinsent Masons’ Infrastructure team advised Pure Data Centres Group on what will become one of Europe’s largest AI infrastructure projects, a €7.5 billion AI campus project in Finland. Earlier in the year, the firm advised Asyad Logistics International Limited, backed by Omani state-owned investment vehicles, on its acquisition of Leeds-based Ligentia Group, a tech-enabled supply chain services provider, from Equistone Partners Europe.
