Parliamentary

Our experts advise on UK parliamentary issues including government and private/local legislation, scrutiny and procedure. We assist in developing, drafting and promoting or opposing legislation.

We help clients in both the public and private sectors understand and navigate legislative and parliamentary processes, to bring about legislative and public policy change.

We have experienced legislative drafters and parliamentary agent expertise in the UK Parliament, enabling us to advise on formulating policy, and developing and drafting legislation. We work closely with our public and administrative law team to draft legislation for governments and private sector clients, and with our planning team in drafting development consent and other orders to authorise major infrastructure projects. We are expert in Public, Private and Hybrid Bills in the UK Parliament, assisting clients in all sectors seeking to promote, amend or oppose such Bills.

We work closely with our public policy team to support clients wishing to influence the legislative process, and to guide clients through parliamentary scrutiny procedures, such as select committee appearances.
