Our investment in your training means we’ll do everything possible to continue your career with us on qualification. We manage the number of Trainees in the Firm to maximise retention, whilst supporting the business. • How many training contracts do you offer each year?

Usually, we offer around 6 Training Contracts each year across Australia, although we review this regularly to make sure it reflects our business needs.

    • Do I get to choose my seats?

You can let us know which seat you’d prefer for each move and we’ll do our best to meet your request, in line with  business needs. At the moment, there aren't any mandatory seats.

    • What is your retention rate?

We aim to retain as many Trainees as possible and at the moment our retention rate is over 80%. We can only offer the positions which have been identified as part of our NQ process. That’s why it's a good idea to keep an open mind about the practice area you’d like to qualify in.

How I took the law into my own hands at Pinsent Masons in Dublin

It guided me through A Levels, law school and interviews, giving me a sense of purpose and reminding me that I could make an impact. Four years later, I’m working as a summer intern for the very firm that fuelled my ambition to practise law.
