Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons, together with China Commercial Lam Lee Lai (Qianhai) Law Firm (CCL), has advised Cosonic International Pte. Ltd. on the acquisition of the beyerdynamic Group. The transaction value amounts to approximately USD 150 million.

This transaction marks the first deal completion since the announcement of the joint operation between Pinsent Masons and China Commercial Law Firm in March 2026. Closing took place on 10 June 2026 in Frankfurt in the presence of Cosonic’s CEO, representatives of the sellers, and CCL.

For Cosonic, the acquisition represents a significant strategic step – transforming the company from a component supplier into the owner of a premium audio brand with a global presence.
