Pinsent Masons advises Kearney on acquisition of TEAMS Design

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised global management consultancy, Kearney, on its acquisition of TEAMS Design.

The Pinsent Masons team advising on the deal was made up of a cross-border team from Germany and China and advised on US legal matters with the support from the US law firm Sidley. The firm advised Kearney on all aspects of the acquisition including tax, IP, competition, employment and property law-related advice.

The Pinsent Masons team was led by Dr. Sandra Schuh and Ronald Meißner and included Marcus Hierl, Wei Liu, Ruth Maria Bousonville and Michael Lin.

This is the second time Pinsent Masons in Germany has advised Kearney. In November 2022 the firm advised the management consultancy firm on it its acquisition of OPTANO GmbH, a provider of AI solutions which enabled Kearney to expand its expertise in AI-based solutions with a particular focus on supply chain optimisation and transformation.

Kearney is a partner-owned global management consulting firm with more than 5,300 employees in more than 40 countries, working with more than three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500, as well as governmental and non-profit organisations. The German subsidiary is A.T. Kearney GmbH and has offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich.

TEAMS Design is a global strategic design company with locations in Stuttgart, Chicago, Hamburg and Shanghai. TEAMS Design will complement Kearney's global service offering in innovative design solutions.
