Andrew Masraf is Senior Partner Emeritus of Pinsent Masons. Having served as Senior Partner and Chair of the firm's Board, he now supports the firm on a range of strategic initiatives, helping to enhance Pinsent Masons' market profile, pursue selected growth opportunities and acts as a senior ambassador for the business.
Andrew continues to contribute to the development of the firm's people and culture through mentoring and sponsorship activities. A passionate advocate for social mobility, he serves as senior sponsor for the firm's social mobility initiatives, helping to reinforce Pinsent Masons' commitment to creating opportunities for talented individuals from all backgrounds.
Prior to becoming Senior Partner, Andrew held senior leadership positions as Head of Corporate and Head of the Transactional Services group. He is a private equity specialist with extensive experience advising clients in the infrastructure sector. The nurturing of talent is important to Andrew. He led a team which developed a growth mind-set strategy in collaboration with Matthew Syed (the former Olympic table tennis player and author of “Black Box Thinking” and “Bounce”), which achieved recognition from across the legal industry.
Andrew remains a trusted adviser and representative of the firm, providing strategic counsel to the leadership team and supporting the Senior Partner on matters of importance to the business.
