Acted for Teva who initiated a claim for revocation of Gilead's Supplementary Protection Certificate ('SPC') for Truvada®, a dual combination product containing tenofovir disoproxil and emtricitibine, for the treatment of HIV. Following trial in December 2016, Mr Justice Arnold referred a question to the Court of Justice of the European Union in relation to what the criteria are for deciding whether the product is protected by a basic patent in force under Article 3(a) of the SPC Regulation.
Advising Sandoz AG on interim injunction proceedings, and patent revocation and infringement proceedings following the launch in the UK of its generic dapagliflozin product.
Advised Sandoz AG, a global generics and biosimilars manufacturer, on revocation proceedings before the UK Patents Court concerning a dosing regime patent for Rivaroxaban (Xarelto), and on the subsequent damages enquiry arising from a wrongly granted interim injunction.

Acting for Safran Seats in patent litigation arising out of a patent infringement action commenced by Lufthansa Technik AG against Astronics AES, Panasonic Avionics Corp and Safran. The patent in issue concerns a safety device used in electrical systems in commercial aircraft.
