Advised a major Northern Ireland manufacturer on a successful multi million pound product liability and breach of contract claim. which arose after the defendant, one of the world's largest adhesive manufactures, supplied our client with defective product.

Acted for a major retailer in relation to a successful defence of a claim that a restrictive covenant in a lease was unlawful and in in breach of Competition law. This was the first time the point had been tested before the court.

Acted for Virgin Media Limited in relation to dilapidations claim for £2.4m. Issues raised with regard to a purported assignment of the lease without the Landlord's knowledge to an SPV company immedaitely placed into liquidation without appointing a Liquidator, the question then being whether there had been an abuse of the insolvency legislation and lack of commercial probity.
