Richard Ashmore

Richard Ashmore is an international construction lawyer with almost 20 years' experience advising clients on construction and infrastructure disputes.
Richard specialises in international arbitration and has helped clients in arbitration proceedings under the major arbitral institutions in many jurisdictions, including the GCC, Africa and Europe.
Richard advises extensively during project implementation and in subsequent arbitration proceedings. He has acted for owners (both government and private sector), joint ventures, main contractors and sub-contractors. He has lectured on dispute resolution at the University of Stuttgart’s Institute for Construction Management and sits as an arbitrator.
Richard was based in Dubai between 2010 and 2015 and is now based in Doha.
