Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has once again topped the Legal 500 UK rankings, securing both the highest number of overall rankings and the most Tier One rankings.

Pinsent Masons was recognised in 155 department rankings overall, of which 67 were Tier One. In London, the firm achieved 71 rankings, of which 17 were Tier One, maintaining its position as one of the top five firms in London by total rankings.

Individual recognition also remained strong, with 292 lawyer rankings in total, including 23 who made it for the first time. The number of partners named in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame increased from 39 to 41.

Among its new department rankings, the firm was recognised as Tier One for its industry focus on Retail & Consumer.

Commenting on the rankings, Melanie Grimmitt, Head of Clients and Markets said: “To once again have achieved the highest number of rankings according to Legal 500 is a testament to the dedication of our teams and the quality of the work they deliver for clients in London and across the UK.”

Melanie continued: “In particular, seeing our Retail & Consumer expertise ranked in Tier One after just a year of its formalisation as a sector is a reflection of how our clients trust us to deliver on their most complex and strategically important mandates, as we did with Huel earlier this year.”
