Pinsent Masons has advised the shareholders of Alveo, including funds managed by Sovereign Capital Partners (SCP), on its sale to Symphony Technology Group (STG).
Alveo is a leading cloud-based data management, analytics, and Data-as-a-Service provider to the financial services industry and serves a global footprint of blue-chip financial institutions with customers across 18 countries and operations in London, the Netherlands, Singapore and New York.
The Pinsent Masons team acting on the transaction was led by private equity partner Tom Leman and senior associate Joshua Willis.
Commenting on the deal, Tom Leman said: “We have a long-standing relationship with SCP, having advised the team when it first invested in Alveo in 2018. We continue to work with ambitious and innovative investors in the market such as SCP and we wish the Alveo management team well in their partnership with STG.”
