Pinsent Masons advises GMPVC on EUR13.2 million Clark investment

International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised GMPVC German Media Pool in its €13.2 million A Series investment into insurance start-up Clark.

The transaction, which is one of the largest A Series investments in Europe, includes approximately 75% venture capital and 25% media capital investment. Investors include ProSiebenSat1 subsidiary company, SevenVentures, Axel Springer as well GMPVC German Media Pool.

Founded in 2015, Clark provides insurance-related recommendations via a smartphone app. By analysing  the quality of insurance coverage of customers, Clark provides the user with offers from a selection of 160 insurance companies.

Pinsent Masons successfully advised GMPVC in negotiations with Clark, previous and future shareholders as well as in contractual agreements and implementation of the transaction.
