Pinsent Masons appoints Carl Posern as new Structured Finance partner

International law firm Pinsent Masons has strengthened its City offering with the appointment of Carl Posern to the firm’s Structured Finance team.

Carl joins from Linklaters where he was a managing associate specialising in a broad range of structured finance matters including securitisation, debt capital markets, derivatives and other complex structured finance matters. Carl also has extensive experience in a number of subsectors including consumer loan financings, synthetic securitisations, residential and commercial mortgage backed securities, non-performing loan portfolios, derivatives, and infrastructure and utilities financing.

Having trained in Frankfurt with extensive experience advising on German capital market transactions, Carl is dual qualified to practice in both German and the UK markets, having completed his solicitor requalification when he transferred to Linklaters’ London structured finance group.
