Pinsent Masons appoints IP trio to Munich office

International law firm Pinsent Masons announces the appointment of Alexander Bayer, Peter Koch and Jörg Khöber as it continues to bolster its fast-expanding Munich office.
Together with the recent office opening in Dusseldorf, the latest hires mark an important step in the expansion of the firms' capability in Germany, and strengthens its expertise in the Technology, Life Sciences and Energy sectors.
Alexander Bayer joins as partner from Gowlings WLG where, alongside Peter Koch, he grew the patent and trademark litigations practice. With a specialism in fintech, his practice covered legal advice for innovative products and services, data protection, soft IP and unfair competition.
Peter Koch joins as legal director from Gowling WLG and also specialises in patent litigation. His experience includes cross border patent litigation, predominantly within the telecoms and medical devices sectors.
Jörg Khöber also joins as Senior Associate from Gowling WLG.
