Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Thomas Shen as a Partner in its Structured Finance team, based in London.

Thomas joins the firm from Simmons & Simmons, and brings more than 15 years’ experience advising investment banks, asset managers and financial product manufacturers on a broad range of capital markets, structured products and derivatives transactions. He will join Pinsent Masons on Monday 1 June.

His expertise in derivatives and structured products strengthens our ability to advise clients on increasingly complex and evolving transactions."

On his appointment, Thomas added: “Pinsent Masons has a strong reputation in financial services and a clear focus on delivering commercial, sector-driven advice. I am excited to join the firm and to work with colleagues across its international platform to further develop the structured finance and derivatives offering, supporting clients as they navigate increasingly complex products and evolving market demands.”
