Pinsent Masons breaks into the Top 50 law firms in Germany

International law firm Pinsent Masons has been ranked among the top 50 law firms in Germany for the first time.
The annual ranking, published by influential legal publisher JUVE, provides a comprehensive overview of the leading law firms in the German market.
It follows a period of significant investment and expansion for the firm during the five years it has been operating in Germany. The firm opened in Munich in 2012 with a team of seven partners. Since then it has opened in Dusseldorf and grown to a team of around 150 people including almost 30 partners. The team has been active advising a variety of German and international businesses on a wide range of complex legal matters.
JUVE noted that Pinsent Masons “...has established a hard-hitting German team specializing in interdisciplinary advice to the technology and energy sectors. This came as little surprise, as Pinsent Masons is strong in precisely these fields in its domestic UK market and at home in the mid-cap segment. The transfer of this concept to Germany bears witness to the firm’s strategically consistent approach.
Other firms have built up their German presence by recruiting laterals too. But PM, with its structured management approach, integrated the numerous new arrivals remarkably well, thus rapidly approaching its goal of becoming a full-service firm. Clients are already praising the “broad spectrum” of advice.”
Pinsent Masons has been recommended by JUVE in the following practice areas: Employment, IPOs, Energy, Corporate, Information Technology, M&A as well as Private Equity and Venture Capital.
