Pinsent Masons was named Construction Law Firm of the Year and Energy and Resources Law Firm of the Year at the Asian Legal Business Hong Kong Law Awards, which was held virtually on 27 November 2020.

This is the tenth time in eleven years that the firm was awarded the Construction Law firm of the Year accolade. Vincent Connor, Partner and Head of the Hong Kong office of Pinsent Masons said, “It’s an honour to be recognised again by ALB for our work across the procurement, delivery and resolution of the most challenging and landscape-changing infrastructure projects in Hong Kong and beyond – and we’re really grateful to have been entrusted in that work by our clients in the sector.”

John Yeap, Consultant said, “We are naturally delighted to be recognized for our work in the Energy and Resources sector, but we are particularly thrilled in the focus that this award gives to the importance of addressing the global challenge of climate change and sustainability.  Supporting our clients in delivering some of the most innovative projects addressing climate change has allowed us to play a part in the long road to net zero, and we look forward to delivering more of such projects in the coming year.”

The firm was also a finalist in three additional categories: Technology, Media and Telecommunications Team of the Year, Corporate Citizenship Firm of the Year, and Innovative Technologies Firm of the Year.

Now in their 19th year, the ALB Hong Kong Law Awards are committed to recognising the contributions of private practitioners and in-house teams across the region's legal community.
