International law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed Pablo Dorronsoro as partner to lead its public law practice in Madrid.
Joining from Baker McKenzie Madrid where he headed up the Public Law and infrastructure department, Pablo will work across the firm's energy, infrastructure and technology sectors. Pablo's public law and regulatory expertise will be crucial in supporting these sectors in Spain.
Pablo has worked at the Ministry of Interior and the National Superior Court of Justice (Audiencia Nacional). Pablo is a Abogado del Estado (a State lawyer) and has served as an arbitrator for the Spanish Court of Arbitration. He is also a professor on administrative litigation at ICADE.

This is the third partner hire in the Madrid office this year, following the appointment of Paloma Bru and Paula Fernández-Longoria to the TMT team. The total number of partners in Madrid is 10.
The firm has recently moved to its new offices at Serrano 90 in the Salamanca district.
