Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has hired real estate partner, Louisa Lynch, in Dubai.
Louisa advises developers, lenders and investors on all aspects of real estate and hospitality including large mixed-use developments, management and leasing of real estate investments, hotel related transactions and commercial property work.
Louisa has been advising clients in the region since 2008 and has worked on some of the largest real estate projects in the Middle East, regularly advising public and private sector clients across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Egypt. Projects include advising on the recent acquisition of the Grade A commercial building, Al Maryah Tower, in Abu Dhabi Global Market, and on the regeneration of Mina Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi through the new innovative master community known as MiZa.
Head of Middle East at Pinsent Masons, Catherine Workman, said: “The real estate market across the Middle East continues to drive growth – and is an attractive market for inbound and domestic investors. Louisa is a strong addition to the firm and brings the right expertise to support our private and public sector clients on all aspects of real estate mandates across the Middle East.”
Louisa joins from Norton Rose Fulbright where she led the firm’s Middle East Real Estate and Hospitality practice.
Louisa Lynch said of her appointment: “Against the backdrop of a push for economic diversification, developers, lenders and investors in real estate markets across the Middle East continue to be extremely busy. I’m looking forward to working with the multinational, sector-led team at Pinsent Masons advising clients on a broad range of real estate matters as every business grapples with the increasingly important topic of sustainability.”
