International law firm Pinsent Masons has been named the UK's leading legal brand in an influential survey of senior in-house counsel.

The 2018 Acritas UK Law Firm Brand Index is based on the opinions of over 485 senior in-house lawyers across the UK and beyond, in organisations with revenues of $50m or more. It asks them to evaluate firms across a range of factors including brand awareness and favourability.

Richard Foley, senior partner at Pinsent Masons, added:
"Our vision is to be recognised as an international market leader in the global sectors in which we operate, and this survey is a welcome validation from the market of the progress we have made. We have built our business around investing in our client relationships and innovating to stay relevant to clients, and we're pleased to see that commitment is increasingly well-recognised by sophisticated purchasers of legal services."

Jo Aitken, Director of Acritas, said:
“This year’s law firm brand index has been one of the most competitive. Pinsent Masons stands out to clients for its responsiveness, the good working relationships it develops and fulfilling promises to deliver results.”
