Pinsent Masons has won the prestigious International Construction Law Firm of the Year award at the Chambers China Awards 2012. The ceremony was held at the China World Hotel in Beijing on Thursday 23rd February.
The Chambers China Awards honours national and international law firms on the basis of research for Chambers Asia Pacific. The awards recognise law firms' pre-eminence in key practice areas and notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.
Pinsent Masons’ win recognised the excellent profile and reputation earned by its team in China over the last year. In addition, its alliance partner, Hesen, was nominated for Boutique Law Firm of the Year. A significant achievement given that the practice has only been operating for one year.
John Bishop, Head of the firm's Beijing office, said: “It is a great honour for Pinsent Masons to be awarded International Construction Law Firm of the Year. It’s fantastic to see all of our hard work rewarded with this public recognition – recognition that can be used to our advantage in the market as we continue to grow our China practice.”
