Cooperative Training Programme

Based in our Riyadh office

Introduction

We welcome applications from university students who are pursuing a legal degree and are attracted to a legal career with an international professional services firm with law at its core. Our Riyadh Cooperative Training Programme is suitable for students who wish to gain practical legal experience and exposure to international standards while studying or completing their university requirements.

Candidates should have an interest in developing their legal career in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, with a desire to gain hands-on experience in an international firm environment. Through this programme, we aim to build the junior talent pipeline of our Riyadh office by providing students with a comprehensive introduction to a multi-national, commercial professional services organisation with law at its core.

Throughout the programme, participants will gain broad exposure to different areas of the firm by rotating across various practice groups. The training in each seat is ‘front loaded’ to enable students to quickly develop legal knowledge of each area and take part in real client work under supervision. By the end of the programme, participants will be better informed about which practice areas interest them most and how they can progress their future career in law.

We will support students throughout the training period from liaising with the wider business on seat allocation to meeting regularly to provide professional support, coaching, and feedback to help them get the most from their experience.

In collaboration with partner universities, our firm also provides the necessary coordination, reporting, and evaluation required for successful completion of the cooperative training in line with university and Ministry of Human Resources requirements.

Outstanding trainees may be considered for future full-time opportunities within the firm.
