Our Riyadh Internship Programme offers Saudi students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience within an international professional services business with law at its core.

Over the course of the placement, participants will work alongside our lawyers and business professionals, gaining insight into our work, our clients, and the legal market in Saudi Arabia. Interns will have the opportunity to develop their professional skills, build their commercial awareness, and experience life at Pinsent Masons.

This programme forms part of our commitment to supporting the development of future Saudi talent and providing meaningful early career opportunities within our Riyadh office.

As part of our Riyadh Internship Programme, we provide you with comprehensive professional support throughout their internship placement, ensuring you gain valuable practical experience within an international legal environment.

During the programme, you will receive continuous supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance from our lawyers to help them develop key legal and workplace skills.

In collaboration with partner universities, our firm also provides the necessary coordination, reporting, and evaluation required for successful completion of the internship programme in line with university and Ministry of Human Resources requirements.

Outstanding interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities within the firm.

What is the recruitment process?

  • 01. Online Application

  • 03. Interview Call

    If you've been shortlisted, you'll be invited to a interview call with a member of our Riyadh team. During the interview call, you'll be asked questions about your studies, work experience and is a chance for us to get to know you better. You'll have the opportunity to ask us questions about the firm.

  • 04. Offer

    If you are successful, an offer to join our Internship Programme will come your way.

Frequently asked questions

  • Am I eligible to apply for the Riyadh Internship Programme?

    If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible to apply:

    • You must be a Saudi national or a long-term resident in Saudi Arabia.
    • You must be in your penultimate year of a law degree or beyond at a recognised university in Saudi Arabia.
    • Have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 (or equivalent). 

  • Is the programme paid?

    Yes, our Internship Programme is a structured training opportunity designed to provide students with practical work experience. You will receive a monthly allowance for the duration of the Internship. This allowance is not considered part of the firm’s salary structure and does not count towards annual salary increases or bonuses.

  • How long the the programme last?

    Our Internship Programme runs for a fixed period of three months.

  • Which universities are eligible to participate?

    We currently welcome applications from universities accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Education, including Prince Sultan University, Alfaisal University, and others with approved co-op training frameworks.

  • What practice areas will I be exposed to?

    You may rotate across various practice groups such as Corporate, Real Estate, Finance & Projects, and Dispute Resolution, depending on business requirements, capacity and learning objectives.

  • Will I receive a certificate at the end of the programme?

    Yes, upon successful completion of the programme will receive an official Certificate of Completion from the firm

  • Will I get support during the programme?

    Yes, you will be assigned a supervisor and a mentor who will provide guidance, feedback, and professional support throughout the programme.

  • What documents are required for me to apply?

    To apply, we simply ask that you attach an up-to-date CV, university transcript and your cover letter to your application form.
