International Law firm Pinsent Masons has won the prestigious ‘Insolvency Law Firm of the Year’ award at the annual Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency Awards.

Now in their tenth year, the TRI Awards celebrate restructuring practitioners who undertake outstanding work in corporate rescue, as well as those making critical investments in distressed and struggling businesses.

The Insolvency Law Firm of the Year Award celebrates the achievements of corporate recovery and insolvency teams, measuring them against a set of strict criteria, which includes financial performance and strategic vision.

The Pinsent Masons Restructuring and Insolvency practice secured the accolade for the firm’s innovative  use of AI technology for non-performing loan acquisitions and for advising on a series of significant restructurings such as All Leisure Holidays, King & Wood Mallesons, Ed’s Easy Diner and Jones the Bootmaker.

Commenting on the win Nick Pike, Restructuring and Insolvency partner at Pinsent Masons said:

"It’s great to see our fantastic restructuring and insolvency team recognised with this prestigious award for the second time in four years.  The team has advised on numerous complex assignments throughout the year which have allowed us to demonstrate  both our in-depth international and local restructuring and insolvency expertise. The award reflects the quality of the complex and challenging work being undertaken on a daily basis by the whole team.”
