David, a market-leading regulatory lawyer, joined the firm in May 2015 as Head of Financial Services Regulatory practice. A financial regulation partner for sixteen years, he advises a wide range of regulated businesses including banks, building societies, insurers, brokers and other financial services providers on regulatory and commercial issues. David recently advised the influential Council of Mortgage Lenders in relation to the government’s Help to Buy scheme and during the course of his career has acted for several well-known financial institutions.
More specifically he advises on structures and distribution of financial services products, authorisation and conduct of business issues and on regulatory issues relating to acquisitions and disposals in the financial sector.
