Decommissioning or repurposing of existing oil and gas assets
This session will take a look at the opportunities around repurposing oil and gas assets for a low carbon future.
We will discuss the key themes and priorities for the oil and gas industry in the move towards a low carbon future and how existing infrastructure might be re-purposed for alternative uses such as for low carbon hydrogen and/or carbon capture, usage & storage projects.
We’ll also be touching on some of the projects already being developed by the sector with a low-carbon future in mind (such as the Bacton Hub).
