Wide ranging and significant reforms to plan-making and decision-taking are included in the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill. Establishing new National Development Management Policies, introducing supplementary plans into the development plan framework, introducing the “use it or lose it” principle into legislation, extending enforcement timescales and introducing a new s73B planning permission route feature amongst the reforms set out.
