Pinsent Masons’ UK Health & Safety and Regulatory Risk Advisory team host a virtual mock trial - a disgruntled employee whistleblower, leading to a HSE Covid spot check, resulting in an enforcement notice relating to a machine on the shop floor and that's all before a serious incident occurs leaving the organisation facing prosecution and the potential for a significant fine.

Drawing on themes and issues that can impact upon organisations across all sectors, we hope you will join us for what will be an illuminating and engaging mock trial.

Over the course of this complimentary event we will provide Health & Safety professionals, GCs, Heads of Legal and in-house lawyers the opportunity to participate in the Mock Trial, in which you – as virtual attendees – play the jury and must decide whether to convict or acquit the defendant.

With the best will in the world, sometimes things go wrong, in which case it is important that you and your employees are well prepared and in the best possible position to protect the company’s interests if a serious health and safety incident occurs.

Following the conclusion of the mock trial there will be an opportunity for questions around the topics arising from the proceedings.

Who should attend?

This mock trial is suitable for Health & Safety professionals, GCs, Heads of Legal and in-house lawyers.
