Living through a mental health crisis with Clarke and Carrie Carlisle

Pinsent Masons' Mindful Business Charter team are hosting this event focused on wellbeing, an intimate interview with Clarke and Carrie Carlisle. Continuing to talk about mental health is a key part of our strategy to bring humanity to our workplace and banish stigma.

Clarke Carlisle is a former Premier League footballer, television presenter and author.

Clarke was a well known figure in football but he came to the attention of the wider public after a high profile suicide attempt, following a career blighted by mental health issues.

Clarke and his wife Carrie decided to speak out about their experiences and created Clarke and Carrie’s Place, a virtual community for people to talk openly about mental health, supporting both those suffering from mental ill health, and those who love and care for them.

Matt Morgan, Partner and Head of Banking & Restructuring (EMEA), will interview Clarke and Carrie, and discuss the importance of speaking out about mental wellbeing. As well as telling us their story, Clarke and Carrie will provide us with practical tips that they encourage us to incorporate into our daily lives.

Agenda

  • Breaking down the stigma of mental health at work
