In this session our team will look at why misconduct and cultural issues arise, the financial and non-financial impact they can have on organisations, including why a strong culture can be a powerful competitive advantage and why time and investment from senior management are essential. Methods of encouraging cultural change, including the carrot vs stick conundrum and the role of whistleblowing, will be examined, along with the lessons to be learned in other sectors from the experience and regulation of the financial services sector.
