A book about the founder of the Hershey bar has been accused of trade mark infringement because the cover of the book features Hershey's well-known trade marks and trade dress, according to the Associated Press.

“Hershey has not authorised, sponsored or approved the book entitled, Hershey: Milton S. Hershey's Extraordinary Life of Wealth, Empire and Utopian Dreams by Michael D'Antonio and Simon & Schuster Publishing,” said the firm in a statement. “We believe the use of our trade marks and trade dress on the book's dust jacket will mislead the public to believe otherwise.”

The book is due to be published next month. Meanwhile, the Hershey Company is seeking damages and an injunction to force a change of dust jacket.
