Jugendschutz.net, a German youth protection organisation, has convinced US ISPs to shut down 15 German-language neo-Nazi and extremist web sites, according to a report by Newsbytes.

The terms and conditions of the ISPs forbid users posting hate material. The German group simply e-mailed the ISPs with details of 22 offending sites, providing the ISPs with English translations and a reminder of their own terms of service.

According to Newsbytes, the group has now listed an additional 400 offending sites.
