Advised Ørsted on its successful bid for Isle of Man Government seabed rights to develop an offshore wind farm, securing an agreement for lease in 2014. Since then, we have advised on the legislation, policy and regulatory processes required to enable the project, including the first Marine Infrastructure Consent application for the first of kind offshore wind development in the Isle of Man.

Advising six of the proposed ScotWind offshore wind projects, with a combined potential generating capacity in excess of 10GW. Appointed to provide planning advice throughout the early development and consenting stages of these projects, including detailed advice on technical matters including EIA and habitats regulations assessment.
