Advising the trustees of the Michelin Pension and Life Assurance Plan on the £1.5 billion bulk purchase annuity full-scheme buy-in with Aviva. The transaction secures the benefits for c15,000 members of the scheme. It involved an in-specie transfer of assets, and an “in house” solution to deal with the scheme’s illiquid assets

Advised M Group Services Limited (MGS) on its acquisition of Skanska Construction UK Limited’s infrastructure services business for £50m. Skanska’s infrastructure services business predominately includes street lighting replacement and maintenance, highway and transport maintenance. This strategic acquisition will strengthen and expand MGS’ capabilities across key sectors.
