Kanyi Lui, Head of China said: "We are very proud to be recognised once again in such a wide breadth of practices and sectors. As the number one Belt-and-Road Initiative Law Firm, we provide our clients with innovative and practical solutions to the problems they face, wherever in the world their business might take them. We have been in China for 40 years, and this award recognises the hard work and dedication of our people and our commitment to China and a greener, more sustainable future.”

Pinsent Masons has been operating in China since 1983, and has three offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Recent landmark mandates include representing a Chinese state-owned enterprise on a 1000MW wind project in Uzbekistan, which is the largest renewable development plan in Uzbekistan and one of the largest in Central Asia. We have also advised a large Chinese contractor on the development and design of an electric vehicle-manufacturing complex in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is Saudi Arabia's first homegrown EV brand. Both projects were named “Belt and Road Deal of the Year” by China Business Law Journal in 2023.
